Online Modeling Contests: How They Work and How to Pick a Good One
Updated 26 October 2026
An online modeling contest happens on a website or an app. You do not need to travel. You make a profile, people vote, and sometimes a judge or an AI gives you a score.
This guide explains how they work and how to tell a good contest from one to skip.
How online modeling contests work
- You make a profile with your photos.
- You share your page, and people vote for you.
- Some contests also score you: a judge, or an AI that looks at a video of your walk.
- When the contest ends, the model with the best result wins.
How the winner is picked
Every contest should tell you exactly how it picks a winner. Common ways are: most votes, a judge panel, a score, or a mix.
A mix is often fairer. If only votes count, the model with the biggest following usually wins. If a skill score counts too, practice matters.
What a good contest tells you
- Who runs it, and how to contact them.
- Who can enter (age, countries).
- How the winner is picked, in plain words.
- What the prize is, and how and when it is paid.
- That you do not have to buy anything to enter.
Warning signs: when to skip a contest
- You must pay to "hold your place", with no clear reason.
- Nobody will say how the winner is picked.
- The prize is big, but nobody says how it is paid.
- They ask for passwords, PINs or private photos.
- There is no way to contact a real person.
The Siriverse online modeling contest
Free to enter, open to every country, and for people 18 or older. There are no judges.
Your score is 40% fan votes, 30% an AI Coach walk score and 30% a CrownTalk practice interview. A part is 0 until you do it. Rankings update every night at midnight (EAT).
Cash prizes are sent by hand with Wise, PayPal or M-Pesa — the winner chooses. The full rules are on the contest page.
Questions
Are online modeling contests real?
Many are. A real contest tells you who runs it, who can enter, how the winner is picked and how the prize is paid — before you pay anything.
Can anyone join an online modeling contest?
It depends on the rules. Many are for adults only. The Siriverse contest is open to people 18 or older from every country.
Do online modeling contests cost money?
Many are free to enter. Some sell extras, like extra votes. You should never have to buy anything just to enter.
